Connection is optional. You can keep using the editor and paste a YouTube link without connecting your account.
Data and purpose
Rove Signal requests permission to identify the channel and upload the video you choose. The file travels directly from your browser to YouTube and is not stored by Rove Signal. Before upload, the browser may locally analyze its location, date, and device. Only those normalized details are saved after you confirm the location; the video, SRT, and full telemetry samples are not sent to Rove Signal. We also retain the renewable permission in encrypted form, channel identity, this acceptance, upload-attempt status and a shared daily counter. We do not retain the local file name or temporary access token.
Control of your account
You can disconnect the channel from the editor and revoke access in your Google Account. Your Rove Signal export includes channel and attempt metadata, never credentials. When the account is deleted, we try to revoke Google and purge local data even if Google is unavailable.
