Experimental creator sponsorships
Sponsorships are a measure to support route creators. The creator arranges and manages the agreement directly; Rove does not charge or act as intermediary. This sponsorship model is experimental and may change, be suspended or withdrawn in the future; it does not guarantee revenue, reach or permanence. Changes will be communicated through applicable terms and policies.
YouTube advertising loads automatically, muted and inline, and may transmit connection data to YouTube. A static alternative of equal duration is offered. Viewed advertisements are remembered locally by account, route and revision; the server stores only approximate daily aggregated impressions, completions and clicks for up to 25 months, without personal playback history.
How sponsorships work →Account, application and MFA
Creating an account and publishing routes in this version is free. Individual access requires human review and does not publish content automatically. You do not need to create an organisation. You keep the same account and must confirm MFA before submitting content for moderation.
Covered material and rights declaration
Each submission licence covers the track and its geometry, text, translations, photos—including the cover—video or video links, included sound, editorial locations, credits, points of interest and other data you choose to include. You confirm that you own them or have sufficient permission for Rove Signal to use them in that way, and that you obtained any required permission from identifiable people, private property, trade mark and other rights holders.
Non-exclusive creator-publication-license-v2
You keep ownership. For the submission you accept, you grant Rove Signal a non-exclusive licence to store, copy, remove metadata, convert formats, generate thumbnails, crops and other technical derivatives, translate metadata, display, distribute and publish the material with your credit, and use previews to present the route and Rove Signal through its own channels. The licence also allows retention of evidence needed for moderation, safety, claims and audits. It does not allow other users to edit your route or authorise content monetisation or third-party advertising in this version. Future commercial use requires separate terms and acceptance.
Acceptance, preparation and publication
The creator application accepts these general rules but does not license future routes. Each time you submit a route you mark a separate confirmation; we record creator-publication-license-v2, date, account, revision and submission fingerprint. You review copies and derivatives before submitting. Submission is not publication: Rove Signal may request changes, reject or suspend for quality, safety, privacy, rights, fraud or breach. Changing the track, an image, video, its location, order or cover invalidates the corresponding review and requires a new submission.
Points of interest and external agreements
You may propose businesses as points of interest and make agreements independently. Visibly disclose payments, exchanges, benefits or your own business as a creator commercial relationship. Rove Signal does not offer campaigns, sell placements, collect payments, settle commissions or arbitrate those agreements in this version. An external agreement does not change safety, difficulty or editorial order and does not prevent content moderation or removal.
